While I think there is a lot of great work in this debut issue, I especially loved the small piece by Wesley Moerbe. I’m currently reading Regeneration, a Brit novel focused on the reactions of soldiers to WWI, and this made me think of that as a literary work. I especially like the simple, heart-felt reaction to the journal entry, the way it is framed without much commentary. Just enough. Just enough for me to be sitting in that chair, too. That’s brilliant.
Very nice. Definitely worth subscribing. I enjoy poetry ever since I was introduced to Shakespeare and I write poetry as a small hobby ever since.
